The way the data is stored on various Wound Care Specialists' computers makes the problem of disclosing medical data accidentally much less of a problem, The data just isn't stored on the main computer to be disclosed.

There are naturally some details that need to be maintained, names and email addresses etc. These are protected by having these items encrypted and also the awareness of our personnel of the issues of ethics and security that we are working under

The policy about email addresses is that they are private information and are not to be disclosed to anyone. The email address is obtained when the patient registers and is kept confidential.
